According to iVolley Magazine, the rising star of the Cuban volleyball, Miguel Ángel López, is on the radar of Sada Cruzeiro.

The 22-year-old outside hitter, competing at the 2016 Rio Olympics at the very young age (19), has been successfully playing in Argentina for three seasons and has exploded in the recent South American Club Championship, leading UPCN San Juan Voley Club to the final in which they succumbed to Cruzeiro. López scored 75 points in three games only in the tournament and attracted the interest of a club that beat UPCN for the continental title.

The Cuban player was awarded Best Outside Hitter of the Sudamericano de Clubes and, allegedly, received an offer from the Minas Gerias giants to follow footsteps of his compatriots Leal and Simón, who further developed themselves as great players while defending the colors of the Brazilian club for years.
