“This was a first step on a ladder that has several steps. We have a lot of work, because we are planning long term planning, up to calendar 2016“ Renato D’Ávila, CBV’s technical superintendent said.
The coaches of the Brazilian national teams Bernardinho, mens’, and José Roberto Guimarães, womens’ attended the meeting. Jose Guimaraes commented: “I see this very positive because we are all mobilized to make adjustments that need to be made for the future of Brazilian volleyball in four years. We have to make everything great for the 2016 Games.“
The players were also pleased with the meeting.
“It was great. We took a big step towards improving the Brazilian volleyball. Surely we will grow from this meeting” Gustavo said.
“I think this proposal is very interesting and it’s good that the national teams’ coaches participated. Creating new competitions and prolonging the Superliga is also good” the twice champion Olympic Sheilla shared her thoughts.
