With the renewed team, Brazil led bu Jose Roberto Guimaraes defeated Russia in the final 3:0 (25:23, 25:23, 25:22). It was the first title for Brazil on the Montreux volley Masters tournament in its sixth edition. Brazil won without losing a set.
