The change was confirmed at the meeting between representatives of Brazilian Confederation of Volleyball (CBV) and clubs’ representatives.

According to Renato D’Avila, superintendent of CBV, the new format provides more flexibility to the game and already has shown positive results in the first games played by clubs from Sao Paulo.

With this change, the technical time outs will be when one team scores 7 and 14 points. We expect to make the match even more exciting and also dynamic both for the players and fans as well.
