Fiat/Gerdau/Minas returned to the top of the 2021/22 Brazilian Men’s Volleyball Championship.
Fiat/Gerdau/Minas played a consistent game against Vôlei Funvic Natal and beat the titleholders in an away match of the fifth round of the 2021/22 Men’s Superliga, a replay of the last playoff final, to return to the top of the table. Furthermore, Minas remained unbeatable in the competition, while turbulent summer takes a toll on Funvic’s gameplay as they suffered the third defeat in a row. Leandro Vissotto top-scored the winning side with 11 points, while Matheus Silva ‘Pinta’ served four aces.
