Sada Cruzeiro showed why it’s the team to beat in the Superliga, breezing past Viapol São José with a dominant 3-0 win (25-17, 25-17, 25-16) at Ginásio Poliesportivo do Riacho, in Contagem.

With the victory, the league leaders widened the gap over second-place Itambé Minas, jumping from a four-point lead to six (37 to 31). Earlier in the day, Minas stumbled against Joinville, losing 3-2. Meanwhile, São José remains near the bottom, sitting second-to-last with just nine points.

Outside hitter Gabriel Vaccari shined, earning the VivaVôlei Trophy and leading the match with 10 points. He shared the top scorer spot with Douglas Souza and Wallace Souza, who also racked up 10 points each.

Cruzeiro controlled the game from start to finish, never letting São José gain momentum.
