Sesi Bauru took an step up in the Brazilian Superliga standings with a 3–0 win at home over Tijuca. The vice-champions controlled the match throughout, winning 25–19, 25–21 and 25–19.

With the victory, Sesi Bauru now has 11 points — just one behind Fluminense and Dentil/Praia Clube. Tijuca, still searching for its first win after six rounds, stays in the bottom of the table with only two points.
Even without libero Léia, who is injured, Keyt Alves stepped in and delivered a reliable performance, helping setter Dani Lins run the offense smoothly. Middle blocker Mayany Souza shined brightest, scoring 16 points and earning the MVP award. Bruna Moraes also added 16 for the hosts.
For Tijuca, Ariele Moreira was the team top socrer with 19 points, Rebeca Camile added 12.
