Sancor Maringá kept its hopes of reaching the Copa Brasil alive with a straight-sets victory over Batavo Mackenzie in the Brazilian Women’s Superliga.

Maringá won 25-21, 25-22, 25-19 in the penultimate round of the first half of the 2025/26 season. The result moved the home team into seventh place with 12 points, placing it back among the top eight teams that qualify for the Copa Brasil.

Middle blocker Andressa Picussa also scored 13, and opposite hitter Jaqueline Schmitz added 12. For Mackenzie, Saraelen Lima, Arianne Tolentino and Gabriella Souza – Gabiru finished with nine points each.
