BRA M: Minas Rally Past Sesi Bauru

Itambé Minas beat Sesi Bauru 3–1 in the Brazilian Men’s Superliga, winning 16–25, 25–16, 25–15, 25–23 at Arena UniBH in Belo Horizonte.

The victory moved Minas from seventh to fifth place with 16 points and kept the team in contention for a top-four finish at the end of the first round. It was Minas’ fourth straight win in the competition. Sesi Bauru stayed eighth with 12 points.

Outside hitter Léo Lukas led all scorers with 23 points after coming off the bench and was named the match’s MVP. Samuel Neufeld added 18 points and Gabriel Bertolini had 11 for Minas. Gabriel Vaccari scored 13 points for Sesi Bauru, with Lucas Barreto adding 10.
