Vôlei Renata bounced back with a convincing 3–0 victory over Viapol São José at the Taquaral Gymnasium in Campinas, in the Men’s Superliga.
The home side controlled the match and closed the sets 25–20, 25–19 and 25–22. Adriano Xavier led all scorers with 14 points and was named the match’s best player. Maurício Borges added 10 points, while Newton Fernandes Acerola and Matheus Bispo Pinta scored nine each.
Despite missing injured opposite Bruno Lima, Renata handled pressure in the third set, overcoming an early deficit to seal the win in straight sets.
The result keeps Renata in second place with 33 points, two behind leaders Sada Cruzeiro. São José remains in the relegation zone with 13 points.
