BRA M: Guarulhos BateuBet Beat Vôlei Renata

Guarulhos BateuBet earned a home victory rallying to defeat Vôlei Renata 3–1 in the Brazilian Superliga.

After losing the opening set, Guarulhos responded with a stronger all-around performance to turn the match around at the Ponte Grande Gymnasium. The win moves Guarulhos to 20 points and seventh place in the standings, overtaking Sesi Bauru and opening distance from Azulim/Monte Carmelo. Vôlei Renata stays on 33 points and could slip from second place, with Praia Clube close behind.

Renata was dealt a blow late in the first set when setter Bruninho left the match with a muscle problem and did not return. Guarulhos shared the scoring load, led by outside hitter Vinicius Miranda with 15 points. Bryan Silva and Gabriel Machado added 12 each. For Renata, Adriano Xavier scored 23 points, with Newton Fernandes Acerola adding nine.
