Sada Cruzeiro claimed a straight-sets victory over Suzano in the 17th round of the Brazilian Men’s Superliga. Playing at Arena Suzano, the league leaders won 3-0 (26-24, 25-23, 25-22).
Sada Cruzeiro maintained its dominance at the top of the standings, improving to 44 points and keeping a solid lead over second-place Praia Clube (36 points). Suzano remains fifth with 26 points, just two shy of the top four.
Welinton Oppenkoski led Cruzeiro with 16 points and earned the MVP award. Lucas Saatkamp – Lucão and Douglas Souza added 13 points each, while Rodrigo Leão – Rodriguinho scored 11.
For Suzano, Guilherme Sabino also finished with 16 points, followed by Gabriel Pessoa (12).
