Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde claimed their fifth Copa Brasil women’s volleyball crown by defeating Gerdau Minas 3-1 in the Grand Final at the Moringão arena in Londrina. The defending champions prevailed with set scores of 25-23, 26-28, 25-20 and 25-17 to lift the 2026 trophy and reaffirm their status among Brazil’s elite.

The victory came just a week after Osasco’s setback in Lima, Peru, where the team lost the South American Championship final to Sesi Bauru. In Londrina, however, the response was decisive.
Argentine opposite Bianca Cugno led the way with 24 points, including 21 in attack, finishing as the match’s top scorer. American outside hitter Caitie Baird added 17 points, while Tifanny proved instrumental off the bench. Entering in the third set, she helped overturn a five-point deficit, closing with 15 points on 54% attacking efficiency and earning the MVP award.
Osasco outperformed Minas in most statistical categories. The São Paulo side totaled 61 attack points to Minas’ 53 and recorded 13 blocks against 11 from their opponents. Valquíria Dullius made a notable impact at the net with four blocks after coming off the bench, and setter Jenna Gray delivered a steady distribution and performance.
For Minas, inconsistency proved costly. Glayce Vasconcelos scored 17 points and Hilary Johnson added 16, but the team struggled in serve reception. Russian opposite Maria Khaletskaya was limited to seven points.
Osasco committed fewer errors (22 to Minas’ 26) and closed the fourth set with authority, sealing a title that highlights both resilience and squad depth. The triumph marks another milestone for the club, which continues to build a legacy in Brazilian women’s volleyball.
