Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde moved within one win of the semifinals of the Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Superliga after defeating Fluminense 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-17) in Osasco.

The home side controlled the match from the start, showing far greater efficiency than their opponents. While Fluminense briefly led early in the third set, reception issues disrupted their rhythm and limited setter Fabíola Souza.
Osasco, by contrast, delivered a balanced performance. Jenna Gray led the offense effectively, while Bianca Cugno top-scored with 18 points to earn MVP honors. Mayhara Francini (12) and Caitie Baird (11) also reached double figures. For Fluminense, Ariane Pinto led with 11 points.
Statistically, Osasco dominated, recording a 52% attack success rate compared to Fluminense’s 31%, and committing far fewer offensive errors.
The second match is set for April 2 in Rio de Janeiro. A win would send Osasco through to the semifinals, while a deciding third game, if needed, will be played on April 7.
In other clash, Dentil Praia Clube also opened the quarterfinals with a 3-0 win over Sesi Bauru.
