Sada Cruzeiro advanced to the semifinals of the Brazilian Men’s Superliga after defeating Saneago Goiás 3-0, closing their best-of-three quarterfinal series 2-0.

The regular-season leaders delivered a composed performance at Ginásio Rio Vermelho, winning by set scores of 25-21, 25-17, and 25-23.
Outside hitter Rodrigo Leão and opposite Oppenkoski led Cruzeiro with 11 points each, while Rodrigo Leão – Rodriguinho was named Most Valuable Player. On the opposing side, André Saliba finished as the match’s top scorer with 12 points.
Cruzeiro will face the winner of the quarterfinal series between Itambé Minas and Suzano in the semifinals. Minas leads that series 1-0 and is one win away from advancing.
In another quarterfinal, Vôlei Renata also secured a semifinal berth after a 3-1 away victory over Azulim Monte Carmelo, sealing the series 2-0. They will meet the winner of Praia Clube vs. Guarulhos BateuBet in the next round.
