They beat Maringa Volei in straight sets and made a huge step forward in the best out of three series.
Away side tried everything to stop the home team but they couldn’t do it. Simply, Sesi was better and they are now close to the semifinals.
Taubaté/Funvic beat at home Vôlei Canoas by 3 sets to 0 in their first match of quarterfinals.
Only the first set was equal, but Canoas lost it by 33 to 31. In the other two, Taubaté found no problems to close them – 25-16 and 25-17.
