Thailand – Germany
It was a perfect play from the Asians and a straight-set victory, important in breaking tradition versus today’s opponent as well as a two-game losing streak in the competition – 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-16).
Onuma Sittirak scored 22 points in only the second win of Thailand over Germany in the history of Grand Prix.
Margareta Kozuch scored a team-high of 15 points for the German side who lost its third game in Preliminary Round.
