While Bauru’s players give their best to qualify for Superliga playoffs, club management are trying to make it easier by hiring huge reinforcement – Brenda Castillo, the libero of the National Team of Dominican Republic.
Castillo, officially the best libero at the 2015 FIVB World Cup in Japan, is in the advanced talks with Bauru, according to Bruno Voloch from estadao.com.br.
She has contract with Lokomotov Baku, valid until May, but unofficially – Azerbaijani team are struggling with financial problems.
The man who insisted on hiring Castillo was Bauru’s coach Marcos Kwiek, who trained her in the Dominican NT.
