She left Brazil and Vôlei Nestlé/Osasco at the end of 2012/2013 season to go to Turkey and then to Russia. She is close to win national title with Dinamo Moscow, but she is thinking of returning to home country.
“When it comes to returning to Brazil, the heart beats faster. I miss it a lot. But the truth is that today there is a mathematics involved in my return – the ranking (ranking of players by Brazilian VF). Not that it will define my return or not. I did not leave Brazil not because of the ranking. It was my choice to play abroad,” said Garay, the receiver/outside hitter who was summoned on a wide list of Brazil’s NT for 2016 Olympic Games, for “SporTV”.
