RIO W: Ze Roberto – “It would not be good for the Games to exclude Russia”

Russian volleyball teams still do not know whether the International Olympic Committee will allow them to participate at the upcoming Olympic Games 2016, but they got a support from a legendary coach…

Head coach of the women’s team of Brazill Roberto Guimaraes stated for globoesporte.globo.com that the exclusion of Russian volleyball teams from the Olympic Games would not be good.

“I heard that some Russian athletes got suspended. I do not know how the Russian delegation will respond. I only hope that the other sports will not be affected. It would not be good for the Games. But, I have no power to say whether it is right or wrong…”

Recall that the FIVB is still waiting for a full report from WADA to see which 10 volleyball players allegedly failed doping test.
