A 25-year-old receiver or opposite hitter will enlarge the number of Argentine players abroad (10 of 12 from Rio Olympics squad will play out of the country in 2016/17).
By agreeing terms with Pinheiros and after spending her first season in career abroad (Terville Florange Olympique Club, France), Acosta became a teammate with her compatriot Emilce Sosa, who previously came from Superliga rivals Rio do Sul/Equibrasil.
Besides Acosta and Sosa, Argentina will have another representative in Brazilian Chsmpionship – Tatiana Rizzo in Rio do Sul.
