Bolívar maybe did not achieve some huge succes in general, but beating fierce rivals UPCN is always a special treat. That’s what happened in the second round of the 2016 FIVB Men’s Volleyball Club World Championship in Betim, Brazil, 3-1 (33-31, 22-25, 30-28, 27-25).
It was a huge battle during which every set could go the other way, especially the fourth when UPCN dropped three-point lead at the middle of it.
Bulgarian Todor Aleksiev topped Bolívar’s scorers with 17 points while his compatriot Nikolay Uchikov had 24 in UPCN.
