Sada Cruzeiro
In the remake of 2015 finals, the European Champions Zenit Kazan didn’t manage to dethrone the Brazilian powerhouse Sada Cruzeiro.
In the first set, the Brazilian side showed that they will be very tough opponent to beat, 25-21! In the second set, Sada Cruzeiro kept making pressure on the receivers and in one moment Alekno had to substitute Leon to try to make things different on the court.
It didn’t help, so Leon returned to the court, Zenit returned to the game after trailing by three 25-21! But, Evandro made a good spike from impossible angle to improve the lead to 2-0.
We expected much more from Zenit in the third set but they have lost 25-15 and for the second time in a row they had to congratulate the rival.
The top scorers of the game were Evandro with 14 and Yoandy Leal with 13, while on the other side Leon had 13.
