Taubaté were without mercy to Minas Tênis Clube at home 3-0 thanks to almost perfect performance of their bomber Wallace Souza, 18 points. On the other side, Flávio Gualberto had 10 as the only player of Minas with double digits on scorers list.
Brazilian vice-champions Campinas survived scare against Lebes Canoas. The wards of Argentine coach Horácio Dileo turned the course of the game that was totally going into favor of the visitors, from 0-2 to 3-2, including a breathatikng tie-break 19-17. Rodrigo Pinto ’Rivaldo’ topped Campinas with 17 points. Gabriel Pessoa had 20 in Canoas.
Sesi-SP achieved straight-set victory over Bento Vôlei on road. Three players with 12 points stood out in Sesi: Leandro Santos ’Aracaju’, Théo Lopes and Douglas Souza. Michel Saraiva noted 9 in Bento.
