Canoas added three prospects, of which one has already established himself as a high-level player in Brazil, to their roster for the 2017/18 season.
A 17-year-old receiver Arthur Nath, a member of the Brazilian U19 National Team, came to Canoas from a low-ranked side Sinodal São Leopoldo.
Another receiver, a 20-year-old Bernardo Jacobs, arrived from Superliga club São José Vôlei.
But, probably the most prominent name that came to Canoas of those three players is a 23-year-old opposite Aboubacar Dramé ’Abouba’. Last season, he defended the colors of Minas Tênis Clube in Superliga.
