BRA: Superliga will start with 18 foreigners

When we look at the men’s league there are 9 players, mostly from Argentina and Cuba, only Marko Ivovic are from Europe. Taubate Funvic got the main reinforcements who besides Ivovic hired Sebastian Sole

In the women’s league, only five players are foreigners and only Nadja Ninkovic is from Europe because Volei Nestle continued to hire Serbian players. 

The Superliga 17/18 will still have four foreign coaches and three of them are from Argentina. Only Stefano Lavarini is from Italy and he is the only foreign coach in the women’s league.

These players will for sure bring new energy and atmosphere in their teams but, one thing is more important, 25 of 28 players from the Brazilian National teams will play in the Brazilian domestic leagues.

The men’s Superleague will start on October 14 while women’s on October 17.
