Sada Cruzeiro vs. Montes Claros
After losing the first set, Sada Cruzeiro have managed to make a comeback and to beat Montes Claros 3-1 (30-32, 25-21, 25-15, 25-17), securing another three points to keep the first place in the standings.
Isac was named the MVP of the game, receiving the Viva Volei CIMED trophy.
“It was a difficult game, they are playing well this season. You saw everything in the first set when they managed to beat us. However, we were able to handle the pressure,” says Isac.
We have a surprise of the round – Funvic’s seven-game winning streak is over as Volei Renata managed to beat them in five sets 3-2 (25-17, 19-25, 25-18, 25-27, 16-14).
Leandro Vissotto (25) and Diogo Silva (23 points) have created the victory for the away side, while Wallace de Souza had 25 on the other side.
Funvic now have a 7-2 score, while Renata have 4 wins out of 8 games.
One more game was very exciting in the 8th round of the Brazilian Championship. Sesi Sp played away against Corinthians and beat them in five sets 3-2 (23-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-20, 22-20).
