In Superliga clássico, in Round 11, Sesc overcame runners-up Vôlei Nestlé (Osasco) on the road in the tie-break, partially 23-25, 25-12, 20-25, 25-22, 16-14, returning a self-esteem after suffering a defeat in a previous round to Dentil Praia. Monique Pavão and Drussyla Costa highlighted Sesc with 25 and 24 points, respectively. Tandara Caixeta made 25 for Osasco.
Praia allowed Hinode Barueri to rip them one set off before sending them home with a 3-1 triumph to stay isolated at the top of the rankings with 11-0 and 33 points. Thus, Praia coach Paulo Barros ’Paulo Coco’, who is also an assistant in the Brazilian Women’s National Team to José Gumirães ’Zé Roberto’, outsmarted his mentor thanks to 19 points (6 kill blocks) by an American Nicole Fawcett. Suelle Oliveira topped Barueri, who are still waiting for the debut of the Pole Katarzyna Skowrońska-Dolata and Thaísa Daher, with 17 points.
