His return to Brazil was a personal desire. He wanted to be able to finally get back closer to his family – especially the daughters and grandson Felipe. The last Brazilian women’s team Zé led was Osasco (current Sollys / Nestle) in 2005.
Guimaraes has also renewed his contract with the Brazilian national team and will stay tha main coach until the end of the 2016 Olympic Games.
