Camponesa/Minas outplayed their opponents in the tie-break. They led 2-0 after that Volei Nestle equalized on 2-2 and in the fifth set the hosts won 15-11. Destinee Hooker-Coulter was the best in the winning team with 24 points while Tandara Caixeta scored amazing 38 points for Nestle but that wasn’t enough for victory.
In the second match of the day, Dentil Praia scored a clear victory over SESI SP.
