Alba Blaj were better than Stuttgart after four sets 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 17-25, 28-26). Katerina Zhidkova led the Romanian side with 18 points while Maria Baciu added 13. On the other side, Krystal Rivers were the top scorer with 18 points.
Budowlani Lodz have also made a big step towards the group stage, beating Mulhouse in four sets. Jaroslava Pencova scored the highest number of points in a jersey of the home side, while Jovana Brakocevic ended a game with 18 points and Agata Babicz with 15.
