Bulgaria opened game by taking the first set, but in the next three sets Italy dominated and took a 3-1 win.
Ivan Zaytsev (21 points) and Osmany Juantorena (20 points) were the top scorers of in Italy, while the top scorer of the game is coming from Bulgaria – Tsvetan Sokolov with 22 points.
Turkey have scored an important win to advance to the 1/8 finals. They defeated Belarus in four sets 25-21, 26-24, 20-25, 25-19. Belgium have also recorded a win before a game against Serbia, that will decided the first placed team in Pool B.
