In the three Play Off matches of the CEV Cup, only Greek powerhouse Olympiakos achieved expected victory over the Czech Dukla Liberec, while the Turkish THY Istanbul surprised the home team, Italian e-work Busto Arsizio. After a convincing victory of 3:0, THY Istanbul is waiting for the rematch at home field with a lot of confidence. In the third match, another Italian team, Savino Del Bene Scandicci, defeated German SSC Palmberg Schwerin after a great fight in 5 sets, so an interesting and uncertain rematch awaits us. A day earlier, Polish Budowlani Lodz defeated Belgian VDK Gent with 3-0.
