In the first match of the CEV Cup finals, the Italian team Savino Del Bene Scandicci took a significant step towards claiming the trophy. Playing away, they dominated their opponents, the Romanian CS Volei Alba Blaj, winning 3-1. Scandicci was led by Zhu Ting, who not only finished as the top scorer with 30 points but also earned the MVP award.
Nonetheless, the competition is not yet decided, as the title-deciding match is set for next week (April 12) in Italy. There, the home team will have the opportunity to clinch the trophy in front of their fans.
