CEV CUP M: Arkas, Nantes, and Ria Duero Soria Secure Play-Off Spots

In CEV Volleyball Cup action, Arkas Izmir emerged victorious against Karlovarsko, securing their spot in the play-off round. After a 1-3 away win, they sealed the deal with a 2-3 victory on home turf. Patrik Lamanec shone for Karlovarsko with 28 points, while Nicholas Hoag led Arkas Izmir’s attack.

Meanwhile, Kladno’s hopes fizzled out despite a promising start with a 3-2 home win against Nantes. A 0-3 defeat in France marked the end of their European Cup journey. Tomas Lopez led the charge of Nantes with 15 points and was the match top scorer. Antony Goncalves with 11 points was the most effective for Kladno.

Ria Duero Soria rebounded in Switzerland, defeating Chenois 3-0 and securing their spot in the next round. Bruno Cunha led the way with 17 points for Ria Duero Soria, while Valentin Kordas scored 13 for Chenois.
