Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie secured a 3-0 victory over Hypo Tirol Innsbruck (30-32, 13-25, 14-25) in the fifth round of the CEV Champions League, Pool C. While the first set was closely contested, the Polish team dominated the remaining sets with strong performance in attack and blocking (4-13).
Top scorers included Aaron Russell (12) and Karol Butryn (11) for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, and Niklas Kronthaler (12) and Kyle Hobus (11) for Hypo Tirol. Russell was named MVP with a 63% attack efficiency and two blocks.

This win keeps Aluron CMC unbeaten with a perfect record, having previously defeated Hypo Tirol, Knack Roeselare (twice), and Allianz Milano. They remain at the top of Pool C and will face Allianz Milano on January 29 to close the group stage.
