The EuroVolley 2026 line-up is now complete, with the last 12 nations securing their place in the finals. Denmark, Belgium, Czechia, Estonia, Switzerland, Slovakia, and Greece advanced as group winners, while Latvia, Türkiye, Israel, North Macedonia and Sweden joined as the best runners-up.
The final round of qualifiers:
- Denmark swept Hungary 3–0 (25–17, 25–18, 25–19) in Pool A, cementing their progress.
- Montenegro edged Norway 3–1 after taking the decisive fourth set 25–18.
- Switzerland produced a remarkable comeback, overturning a two-set deficit to beat Sweden 3–2 (15–9 in the tie-break).
- Israel battled past Estonia 3–2, sealing the decider 18–16 in a thriller.
- Elsewhere, North Macedonia beat Georgia 3–0, Austria swept Azerbaijan 3–0, and Latvia overcame Kosovo 3–1.
In the case of North Macedonia and Austria, it ultimately came down to the point ratio—proof of how exceptionally balanced and tense these qualifiers were, where every point mattered. They finished with the same number of wins, the same points total, and the same set ratio, so the point ratio was decisive.
