Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia delivered another polished home performance, defeating Berlin Recycling Volleys in straight sets to strengthen their lead in Pool C of the CEV Champions League.

Perugia dictated the pace from the opening set, overwhelming Berlin with serving pressure and efficiency in attack. After a comfortable first set, the German champions stayed in touch during a tighter second, but Perugia stepped up in the key moments to secure the set and take full control. The third set was one-way traffic, as the hosts quickly built a decisive lead and closed the match in just over an hour.
Wassim Ben Tara was the top scorer and MVP of the night, finishing with 18 points, including three aces and two blocks, and converting all of his attacks. Oleh Plotnytskyi added 11 points, while Kamil Semeniuk chipped in with eight. For Berlin, Nolan Flexen led the scoring with nine points, followed by Ben Hanes with eight.
The numbers underlined Perugia’s dominance: 70% success in attack, nine aces, and four blocks, compared to Berlin’s 51% attack efficiency and four aces. With this win, Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia remain in sole possession of first place in Pool C.
