CEV CL W: DevelopRes Rzeszów Defeat Marica Płowdiw

DevelopRes Rzeszów recorded a straight-sets win over Marica Płowdiw in the fifth round of Pool E of the CEV Women’s Champions League. The Polish side prevailed 3–0 to claim their fourth victory of the group stage.

Rzeszów controlled the match with strong pressure from the serve line and a solid blocking performance. DevelopRes finished with 10 aces and six blocks, clearly outmatching the hosts in both areas.

Marica’s standout performer was Iva Dudova, who led all scorers with 24 points. For DevelopRes Rzeszów, Oliwia Sieradzka played a important role scoring 15 points and earning the MVP award. Julita Piasecka added 14 points to support the win.

The result keeps DevelopRes firmly among the top teams in Pool E as the competition approaches its decisive stage.
