In Pool A, VakifBank Istanbul continued their flawless run, brushing aside Volero Le Cannet in France without dropping a set. The Turkish powerhouse controlled the match from the opening rally, preserving their unbeaten record and staying top of the table. In Pool D, Dresdner SC boosted their European ambitions with a solid home victory over ŁKS Commercecon Łódź. The German side showed composure in key moments, sealing the match in straight sets and moving into third place in the group, keeping their hopes of extending their continental campaign alive.
