In Pool A, VakifBank Istanbul continued their flawless run, brushing aside Volero Le Cannet in France without dropping a set. The Turkish powerhouse controlled the match from the opening rally, preserving their unbeaten record and staying top of the table. Their attention now turns to a decisive home clash against Italy’s Savino Del Bene Scandicci, a match that will determine who finishes first in the group.

Pool C saw Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul underline their credentials with a commanding road win against OK Železničar Lajkovac. The Turkish team dominated from start to finish, collecting three points to remain just one behind group leaders Numia Vero Volley Milano. Their head-to-head meeting in Italy will now decide who claims first place.

In Pool D, Dresdner SC boosted their European ambitions with a solid home victory over ŁKS Commercecon Łódź. The German side showed composure in key moments, sealing the match in straight sets and moving into third place in the group, keeping their hopes of extending their continental campaign alive.
