The Italian side controlled the match from start to finish, winning 25-13, 25-18, 25-17. Captain Simone Giannelli guided the team with authority and earned MVP honors, contributing six points including two aces. Wassim Ben Tara led the scoring with 13 points, while Kamil Semeniuk added 11 as Perugia posted an impressive 60 percent attack efficiency. Prague, who had tested Perugia in their earlier meeting, were unable to replicate that performance at home. The visitors’ strong serve and solid blocking kept the Czech side on the back foot throughout.

While Perugia celebrate top spot, the battle for qualification remains tense. Germany’s BR Volleys fell 1-3 to Guaguas Las Palmas despite 33 points from Jake Hanes. The defeat leaves Berlin needing a result against Perugia on the final matchday if they want to guarantee progression.

For Perugia, the group job is done. For Berlin, the pressure is on.
