Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza advanced to the CEV Cup 2026 semifinals after defeating Germany’s Berlin Recycling Volleys 3-0 in the second leg of their quarterfinal.
At PalaBancaSport, Piacenza won 25-21, 29-27, 25-18, taking two tightly contested opening sets before pulling away in the third. Lukas Bergmann and Daniel Iyegbekedo scored 10 points each for the Italian side, while Efe Mandiraci added 9. Berlin’s Daniel Malescha led all scorers with 13 points.
In another quarterfinal second leg, Greenyard Maaseik defeated Galatasaray HDI Sigorta 3-1 in Belgium at Steengoed Arena. After losing the opening set, the hosts rallied to win the next three.
With two victories in this quarterfinal clash, Greenyard Maaseik advances to the semifinals.
