Savino Del Bene Scandicci booked their place in the CEV Champions League Final Four after edging Fenerbahçe Medicana Istanbul in a dramatic Golden Set decider.
Despite holding a 3–0 first-leg advantage, the Italian side were taken to the limit as Fenerbahçe claimed a 3–1 home victory to force a tiebreak. Arina Fedorovtseva (36 points) and Melissa Vargas (30) led the Turkish side’s comeback, but it was not enough to complete the turnaround.
MVP Ekaterina Antropova starred for Scandicci with 30 points, including seven aces, while Avery Skinner added 16. In the decisive Golden Set, Scandicci held their composure to secure a 15–13 win and advance.
