Zawiercie defeated Ziraat Bankkart Ankara 3-1 to secure back-to-back appearances in the European final. Aaron Russell led the Polish side with 16 points, while Bartosz Kwolek added 13. Zawiercie closed out the match in dominant way despite a 27-point performance from Ankara star Nimir Abdel-Aziz.

The Polish champions will now attempt to gain revenge for last season’s defeat to Perugia and chase the first Champions League title in club history.

Earlier, reigning champions Perugia booked their place in the final with a straight-sets victory over PGE Projekt Warszawa. Wassim Ben Tara scored 18 points for the Italian side, which controlled most of the match before surviving a late comeback attempt in the third set.

Perugia remains on course to defend its European crown and win a second Champions League title.
