Slovenia and Sweden Advance to EuroLeagueW Final

Slovenia and Sweden will face each other in the 2026 women’s EuroLeagueW final after recording semi-final victories.

Slovenia maintained their flawless tournament record with a 3-0 home win over Slovakia. The hosts claimed the match 25-15, 25-17 and 29-27, remaining unbeaten without dropping a set in the competition.

Maša Pucelj and Fatoumatta Sillah led Slovenia with 14 points each. After controlling the first two sets, Slovenia faced stronger resistance in the third but held firm in the closing stages to secure their place in the final.

Sweden also stayed unbeaten after defeating Hungary 3-1 in Örebro. The home side won 25-10, 25-20, 24-26 and 25-23 to complete an eight-match winning run.

Isabelle Haak was Sweden’s leading scorer with 26 points, while Hanna Hellvig added 16. Hungary extended the match by winning the third set, but Sweden edged a tight fourth set to confirm their progress.

Slovenia, Sweden, Hungary and Slovakia have all qualified for the 2028 CEV EuroVolley.
