Liu Jo Nordmeccanica coach Lorenzo Micelli: “We have to keep in mind that we must play for something important. We made a step forward to improve our performance, we saw that if we play together, aggressive, with a common target, our Volleyball is not so bad. RC CANNES made it difficult for us with their spikers and it will be the same Saturday in the away match for us. I think the real game between these two teams was in the first two sets.”
RC CANNES coach Laurent Tillie: “We saw the difference between the two teams, MODENA playing at a higher level than us, but I’m happy that we fought for two sets. I hoped in a miracle in the second, it would have been nice to take that set for my team. I told my players that we are here to make a step forward and improve with every match. It was interesting playing good in reception and defence against the spikers of Liu Jo. Saturday we will try to make it better, maybe win one or two sets. We take it one step at a time.”
