First they won the re-match with Ukrainian rookies Barkom-Kazhany LVIV 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-20) before taking also the all-deciding golden set (15-13).
The pressure was all on Vojvodina in the golden set and the visitors from Ukraine caught a better start to it. However, supported by their fans, the players of NOVI SAD eventually completed their comeback from a heavy setback in Ukraine two weeks ago to win 15-13 and qualify to the next round.
