“We played an incredible match tonight, in our head, this is a victory, but we lost by two points. This is Volleyball! We have a great team. In this tournament, Russia won all of their previous matches 3-0 but they did not do so today. I can say with pleasure that I love my players, because they remained always focused, they showed a lot of power and energy while playing here. On Saturday, we played five sets; we did not have any rest, but tonight my team did jump, run all the time, and showed a lot of energy and adrenaline,” says Giani.
Russia have prevailed over Germany in the final of the EuroVolley.
