Two games, two straight-set wins for the Serbian girls!

This is the perfect opening of the tournament of Zoran Terzic’s side. After beating the Czech Republic in straight sets in the first game, Serbia have recorded another three-set victory.

The Netherlands couldn’t do anything to stop the Serbian girls 3-0 (29-27, 25-17, 25-23). It seems that the first set determined the course of the game. After a super exciting volleyball, Serbia somehow prevailed and took the lead 29-27. In another two sets, the Dutch girls gave some resistance but it was not enough to extend the game.

Tijana Boskovic had a stunning display, scoring 27 points. On the other side, Lonneke Sloetjes finished the game with 12.
