Bulgaria vs. Turkey
In a super exciting game, Bulgaria have managed to prevail over Turkey 3-2 (25-17, 10-25, 25-16, 20-25, 20-18). Giovanni Guidetti’s were trailing twice time but somehow forced the match into the tie-break.
After a great battle in the fifth set, even though Turkey had a one-point lead at the very end of the set, missing the match ball, the Bulgarian girls have created a comeback and won the game.
Dobriana Rabadzieva was the best scorer with 19 points, while Elitsa Vasileva had 17 points. On the other side, Eda Erdem had 16 and Polen Uslupehlivan 15.
Turkey will have to defeat Ukraine in the last round to stay at the European Championship. Bulgaria will fight for the Pool B top spot against Russia.
